MouseQuest 2

MouseQuest 2 is a fan game reference to the game from the show "Smiling Friends" and was originally made for the Metroidvania Month 15 game jam. The newest release (Alpha 2.2) has several improvements over older versions, but it's still not complete. The game is beatable, but it's missing a lot of stuff still. A new update (Alpha 3.0) is coming, and it will focus on making MouseQuest 2 more complete, as well as add some much-needed polish to existing components of the game.

WASD to move and spacebar for jump. The E key, X key, 1 key, and Left Click fire the MouseWrath Laser.

SPOILER (not really): There is no jump until shortly after the beginning of the game (it's an upgrade that allows the player to get out of the ring surrounding the starting area.)

Alpha 2.3 Update Coming Very Soon: We polished some existing components to the game and added a lot of the missing assets. There are still some optimization issues and a collision bug w/ the landscape but I'm hoping on ironing those out by Alpha 2.5. If you don't mind reporting any bugs to me that would be extremely helpful. Lastly, though this game will not be our team's main focus in the future, it will still get updated and worked on periodically. Expect updates every 6 months or so. Probably sooner, but maybe later since our team will be focusing on a big project soon.
